Over a dozen dynamic speakers hailing from across Iowa, the Midwest and as far as Vermont will take to the stage at the Iowa Environmental Council’s 2016 Annual Conference – have you reserved your ticket?
Join us on Thurs., Oct. 6 at the DMACC Ankeny Campus for ECOnomics: Dollars, Sense & Sustainability. This year’s event will explore the relationships between our environment, communities and economy.
This year, we invite you to:
- Be inspired by one attorney’s decade-plus quest for justice in cases involving unregulated drinking water contaminants
- Dig into how to build an ecological community
- Gain insight into practices that support our natural resources AND agricultural economy
- Learn how to write a compelling op-ed from an award-winning journalist
- Hear state leaders speak about how to secure sustainable funding to support our natural resources
- Consider the business case for clean energy and learn about innovative locally led and supported projects across Iowa...and more!
The conference will also feature networking opportunities, top-notch exhibitors and a delicious lunch. This year's conference has also been approved for 3.25 hours of continuing legal education (CLE) credit.
BONUS: In a final ode to summer, we’ve extended early bird registration through Fri., Sept. 9. Take advantage of reduced registration rates today.
