Iowans can soon unlock electrification & efficiency dollars with IRA home energy rebates

$120 million in rebates will be available to Iowa through the Home Energy Rebates in mid-2024. These will include Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) which offer point-of-sale rebates on qualified energy efficiency and electrification projects up to $14,000 for low- and moderate-income households. They also include HER - or Home Efficiency Rebates - for retrofit projects.

IEC joins partners in launch of EPA Region 7 EJ TCTAC

EPA announced the launch of the of Region 7 EJ TCTAC, lead by Wichita State University in Kansas. IEC is a partner and the Iowa lead for the Region 7 EJ TCTAC, which will help underserved and overburdened communities across the country access funds from President Biden's Investing in America agenda, including historic investments to advance environmental justice.
