Iowa Voices on Environmental Justice - Des Moines East Side Library

Join the Iowa Environmental Council and Drake Community Press for a special event centered around our new book, Sacrifice State: Iowa Voices on Environment and Justice. We will share a short presentation, along with remarks from a speaker who was featured in the book, and hold space for a community conversation around topics related to Iowa's environment: our water quality, pollution, and climate change impact — and the communities that are most impacted. Copies of the book are available through the Des Moines Public Library. We will also have copies on hand for a suggested donation, a portion of which goes to United Action for Youth and the Honor Native Land Fund.
